Question:  Why should I become a vegetarian?
-2Day-
Answer:  Why not?  I could go on and on about vegetarianism.  Most doctors would agree that a meat-free diet is usually a good thing.

Becoming a vegetarian can help you lose weight, too.  Our Veg-Out study had someone become an
Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian for six days and document what he ate.  He lost 5 pounds!  Of course it is highly recommended that you do at least 20 minutes of exercise each day.

Question:  Can vegetarianism make life harder?
Answer:  Yes and no.  Today, being a vegetarian isn't that tough.  Most restaurants have vegetarian options.  You should even be able to get a garden burger at a fast-food joint, like McDonalds.  Vegetarianism can get tricky with friends and family, so I make these recommendations:

1.  If you're going to a dinner or party, be sure to let the host(s) know in advance.
2.  Try to be polite.  It's pretty hard to find a meal with only meat. Eat what you can and remember you can always have a snack later.
Question:  Can I make a difference in animal rights?
Answer:  Again, yes and no.  Look at it this way:  If you stop eating meat it's not like everybody else is going to start eating more.  It takes a lot of people, but the fact is one can still make a difference.
Question:  Can I maintain a healthy diet while being a vegetarian?
Answer:  Of course.  It can be difficult at first, but after you figure out what foods have enough of the nutrients you need, it won't be hard at all.  If you want more information on the subject, talk to your doctor.
Question:  I'm interested in a vegetarian diet.  Where do I start?
Answer:  If you feel dependent on meat, try slowly working it out of your diet.  Eventually work your way up to Semi-Vegetarian, then Ovo-Lacto, then maybe even Vegan.
