We turn and stare
At someone
Who is standing there
We look at them
As though they’re gone
But they are there
About to leave
Can’t stand it here
Because of us
Can’t stand it here
Because of us
And now
They’re gone
Because I’m here
So I’m the one
Who’s standing here
Now it’s me
Who takes the stare
I am the one
Standing there.
